Nadiya's Peanut Salted Caramel and Hazelnut Tart
Great British Baking Show ™ - Judging
Nadiya: "I'm doing a chocolate tart with chocolate pastry, and then it's going to have a layer of salted caramel and peanut. And then a layer of chocolate mousse and peanut."
Voice-Over: "Nadiya will make her own peanut butter to flavor her chocolate mousse, and she's covering it with a chocolate ganache."
Nadiya: "I'm going to decorate it with some truffles covered in peanut powder."
Paul Hollywood: "Peanut powder? That's interesting."
Nadiya: "I'm going to use something called tapioca maltodextrin, which is a starch, which essentially, it can take on fats. So what I do is, at home, anything that I buy that's a fat, I always put a bit of that in just to make it into a powder and see how it tastes."
Mary Berry: "Well, the appearance is very attractive. I love your twirls on the top."
Paul Hollywood: "I'm a little bit concerned about the thickness of the pastry, but let's have a look at it and see what it's like. Holding together really well. I like it. I like it and I'm not a peanut fan."
Paul Hollywood: "Well done, Nadiya. That is fantastic. The peanut butter coming through is not overwhelming, it's not stodgy, which it could be. I love the crunch at the bottom as well, from the salted caramel. Spot on. Well done."

About The Great British Baking Show ™
The Great British Bake Off ™ (often abbreviated to Bake Off or GBBO and referred to in the United States as The Great British Baking Show ™) is a streamed British baking competition, in which a group of amateur bakers compete against each other in a series of rounds, hoping to impress the judges with their baking skills. One contestant in The Great British Baking Show ™ is eliminated in each round, and the winner is selected from the three contestants who reach the final.
The Great British Baking Show ™ operates on a weekly elimination process to find the best all-around baker from the contestants, who are all amateurs. In each episode, the bakers are given three challenges based on that week's theme: a signature bake, a technical challenge, and a show-stopper. The bakes are assessed by the judges who then choose a "Star Baker" for the week, and a contestant is also eliminated. In the final round, three bakers are left and a winner is chosen from the three.
