Inside her chocolate shell, Maggie hid a cake that was decorated with festive elements (snowballs, snow-covered fir trees, sleds etc.). Her triple layered sponges were chocolate, coffee and chili, sandwiched with orange, rum and vanilla cream.

Maggie made her chocolate dome by inflating a balloon and covering it with chocolate. The principle is that once the balloon is burst, it will leave a chocolate dome behind.

Maggie dropped and broke part of her dome during the assembly process. Prue Leith said that the absolutely loved the flavor of the cake, especially the kick of chilli. Paul Hollywood thought the cake was a little dry.
