Marshmallow Biscuits
About the dish ...

Alison Hammond: "For your signature challenge, the judges would like you to make a batch of 12 identical marshmallow biscuits. These should be inspired by childhood favorites like the teacake or the the wagon wheel. The judges are looking for delicious biscuits, either topped or sandwiched with perfectly set marshmallow. Now, the shape, the flavors and the design is entirely up to you.

Paul Hollywood: "Now, this goes back to our childhood. For me, it's the wagon wheel. It's just the best thing ever. Marshmallow is quite mild in flavor and sweet, so you need something that lifts it, like citrusy jam or something with a bit of acidity will help."

Prue Leith: "It's about decoration as well, because although it should be relatively simple to create the biscuit and the marshmallow, it's about decoration. It's got to look good. It's got to look shop made. "
