What is Barigoule Sauce?

Barigoule (pronounced "ba-ree-gool") is a Provençal French cooking style/sauce, traditionally used with artichokes but also excellent with fish. It typically involves olive oil, white wine, and aromatics like herbs, fennel and garlic.
