Okay, I'm getting so many requests for a recipe for the Hollywood-handshake dish created by Matty Edgell (winner of The Great British Baking Show ™, Season 14 in 2023). This lovely sausage roll had a kick of chili as well as featuring the classic mix of pork, sage and apple.
Important ingredients
Here's what I assembled.

Puff pastry (yes, your eyes are right, I cut corners and bought fabulous puff pastry sheets from my local grocery store).
Sausage meat (it's on the shelves as ground pork)
A cooking apple - don't use eating apples, because they don't mush down as nicely. This was a Bramley apple, but any cooking apple is fine.
Onion - this happened to be a sweet yellow onion, which I find caramelizes best, but any onion will do.
Gochugaru - this is, to my surprise, on the shelves of most grocery stores, or there's a link to it in my recipe. It's not fiery, but gives a lovely kick to balance the sweetness of the apples and onions.
Sesame Seeds - I experimented with toasting them, but I don't believe you can taste the difference, so I recommend you don't waste your time.
Baby sage leaves for garnish
Finely chopped sage
Here's what it looked like during the assembly:

And finally, out of the oven. Check out that lamination!

I liked these but I want to point out that the instructions make no mention of adding the garlic or the gochugaru flakes.
Not much flavor. Couldn’t taste the apple More salt and spices needed
