20 questions for Tom
In this week’s Quickfire challenge, the chefs put their detective skills to work when Tom Colicchio cooked up a dish that Kristen Kish and Gail Simmons couldn’t resist and left little on the plate after tasting it. The chefs ask Tom a series of 25 yes and no questions to determine what ingredients they need to recreate the dish.
During the reveal, Tom Colicchio described his dish: "What I did here is I made a stir fry of lobster, ginger, bok choy, red onion. There's fennel. There's candied ginger. A little fish sauce, lime juice. And then there's Thai basil, parsley, cilantro, and curry leaves. It literally took me eight minutes to cook it. It was fun."
The challenge was to see who could get closest to Tom's dish.
